Hayley rolling over...well sort of...

Lots and Lots of Visitors!!

Lots of friends came by to see me today....Mommy and Daddy's friend Steve came all the way from San Francisco to see me....well, he actually is here for work, but I know he secretly came just for me...then our next door neighbors came by to visit...I can't wait to have fun play dates with Jack and Charlie!! Aunt Patty came over for dinner - she changed her first poopy diaper of mine....I am sure she will tell all of my future boyfriends that to embarass me one day! I even made it through the day without having to change outfits several times...still in the same outfit from this morning!! Hopefully I will let mommy and daddy sleep tonight since I kept them up all last night!

Today I got to meet some of Mommy's co-workers for lunch. I had lots of fun with Hilary, Nicole, Lisa and Allison...I only screamed a little bit....then we picked up mommy's cousin Dawn who is in town for business so I got to spend the afternoon with her. We are going out to dinner tonight so I have had quite the eventful day!

Today I went back to the pediatrician and I gained 7 whole ounces! I now weigh 7 lbs and 8 oz! that is one more ounce than when I was born...the doctor was very happy to see me gaining weight back! Mommy had a hard time getting the car seat out of our car this morning...she had to call Daddy...I guess she had a rookie moment. Mommy said the car seat must have been designed by a man...After my appointment we went to the post office and mailed my birth announcements then we headed back home to bake cookies for our good friend Deon who is in Iraq...we are sending him a care package...while they were baking I got to take a ride in my swing...it was quite fun! I also got to meet mommy's friend Shelley! she stopped by to pay me a visit....she brought me a fun stuffed lamb....I have so many new friends!

My First Easter

Today is my first official Easter. Mommy dressed me up in my Easter dress even though we couldn't go to Mass today...too many people with colds at church and my immune system is not fully up and running just yet, so I settled for a bath and a nice nap with my easter bunny! I had to take a bath because I threw up all over mommy and myself today...I think I may have eaten too fast...so I got to take a bath before I got all dressed up! once the pictures were done, I put on my Easter onesie that Grandma & Papa Manning gave me and fell fast asleep.

First Trip Shopping!

Today I made my first shopping trip...We went to Target, PetsMart, and Trader Joes...I would like to say I remember it all, but I slept through the entire outing...Even though I slept, mommy still bought me a few things....later on in the day we got a visit from Dave and Becca....

Chilling at Home

Since I really can't go anywhere just yet (other than a stroll around the block) I have been hanging out with Mommy, Daddy and my new pal/big sister Lulu. I think she really likes me. She is always checking me out and she likes to try and steal my socks off my feet. I think she may be a bit jealous that mommy and daddy pay so much attention to me, but I think she is getting used to having me around...we have become the best of friends already!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

My Great God Mother Debi got me this adorable outfit and Nana Discher got me my shamrock socks! I was quite the hit at the pediatrician's office this morning! The Doctor said I am perfect! I just need to continue to gain some weight...I gained 3 whole ounces since I have been home! And can you believe that I actually wore this dress all day without spitting up on it? So I was still all pretty when Aunt Patty brought us over dinner tonight!

My First Bath at Home

Today I got my first bath at home. After mommy and daddy got me all cleaned up I decided to give them a little surprise to keep them on their toes....I made a diaper right there on the kitchen counter....At least they all thought it was funny, I guess I am too cute to get mad at just yet...

I am going home!!!

Yippee..they are letting me and mommy go home today!! Mommy and Daddy have me all bundled into my car seat. I can't wait to get home and meet my big sister Lulu!!

Another Day Hanging at the Hospital....

Well, we were supposed to go home today, but I had some issues going potty, so they are making me and mommy stay another day...she was not very happy about that...she can't wait to get me home and play dress up with all of my fun clothes. Above is a picture of me and mommy napping...I guess my feeding schedule makes her sleepy!

My First Full Day

Well, today has been quite the adventure...there are lots of people coming to visit me already! Both sets of Grandparents from Biloxi and Tampa and lots of mommy and Daddy's friends!

Monday, March 10, 2008 I came into the world. It took me a little while to get here, but I made my grand entrance at 7:34 pm. I weighed 7lbs. 7oz. and I was 19.5 inches long. Mommy and Daddy were very excited to see me. I even made Daddy cry.
