Beignets for Breakfast

Grandma made me beignets this morning for breakfast since we did not make it over to Cafe' Du Monde this trip. For those of you who are not from the south, beignets are french doughnuts that are covered with powdered sugar--they are super yummy!! We have a fun day ahead--we are going to eat lunch with Great Grandma at the Schooner in Biloxi for po-boys! then we have to head home to DC-- I will miss all of the goodies that Grandma and Grand papa give me!!

Monkey-ing Around in Nawlins!

Today we went over to New Orleans to visit with family. We stopped by to see Aunt Lorri and Uncle Mike. We wanted to eat at Rocky's but they were closed, so Uncle Mike took us to another place and we ate po-boys --they were yummy! Then we headed over to Aunt June's house to visit with her. She pulled out the big monkey for me to play with--we had lots of fun! Next time we will have to stop at Cafe' Du Monde to eat Beignets since we ran out of time this trip! We also said goodbye to Uncle Timmy-he had to he go back to Houston--I will miss my snuggle buddy!

Christmas on the Bayou...

We spent Christmas with Grandma and Grand Papa Manning this year in Biloxi. I got soo many toys !! Aunt Debi even got me Elmo Tickle hands and grandma and Grand Papa got me elmo slippers and pajamas--not quite sure how we are going to get all my gifts back to DC--I guess that is for mommy and daddy to figure out! "Great" Uncle Tim is here too! Here are a few pictures--of course I was not into cooperating when it came to picture time, but Mommy tried her best! More to come...

Rec Center With Jake

Today Miss Gayle and Ms. Linda took Jake and I to the Rec Center to play in the kids room. we had fun climbing up and down all of the squishy toys and jumping into the ball pit! I am sure worn out now! Nap time will be coming soon!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

We had a blizzard in DC yesterday! We got over 2 feet of snow!! Crazy I tell you! The Snow is almost as tall as me! I got to play out in the snow with my friends Jack and Charlie--and the doggies too! Although I am not thrilled that Mother Nature made elmo cancel his show!! I was supposed to go to Elmo Live and meet him today--I guess Elmo is stuck in the snow! Oh well, hopefully Elmo will come back so I can see him!

Aunt Patti & Uncle Pat's Visit from Alaska

Aunt Patti and Uncle Pat got invited to the White House so they came to DC this past week. I had lots of fun playing with them. They brought me fun toys and we went out to dinner....I sort of behaved. what can I say, I don't sit still -- I just want to explore. After dinner we took a stroll around the monuments and then went back and playde for a bit before I had to go to bed....I will sure miss Aunt Patti and Uncle Pat.

White House Tree Lighting Ceremony

Daddy surprised mommy and I with tickets to see the White House Christmas Tree lighting-- so we headed downtown and met up with Miss Shannon and her mom. We got to see lots of people! We saw Jordin Sparks, Sheryl Crow and of course The Obamas. It was pretty cold, but we still had fun! Can't wait til Saturday when daddy comes home so I can tell him all about it!
