Trick or Treat!

Halloween is spooky, but FUN! and the best part of all?.....CANDY! lots of it! Even the rain did not dampen our fun. We went trick or treating, and then hung out in our spooky courtyard and had fun with all of the visiting goblins, superheroes, animals, and of course ELVIS himself! Miss Sarah and Mr. Jim decorated our courtyard with lots of spiderwebs and a haunted maze for us to play in! I even got to show off our pumpkins that we carved earlier in the day...AND I got to stay up an hour later since the time changed! Halloween is super fun!

Boo Fest at Buzz

I am certainly getting good use out of my Lamb costume this year! It is not even Halloween and I have gotten to wear it twice! I went to Boo Fest this afternoon at Buzz (the coffeehouse down the street). We played games, decorated my very own sugar cookie and hung out with Yoda, Superman, a shark, and many other characters! I think Lulu was the biggest hit! Everyone loved her pumpkin costume....personally I think I was much cuter, but whatever! After Boo Fest we hit the playground to swing for a bit!

Storytime

Today Miss Gayle took Jake and I to the library for Storytime. It was Halloween costume day at the library so I got to try out my lamb costume too! We listened to stories, played with the other kids and picked out some new books to read. I can't wait for Halloween....one word....CANDY.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Since our original trip with my friends got rained out last weekend, Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Patti and I went out to Cox Farms this afternoon. It was so much fun. I got to slide down the big slides and pet the animals! The little piggies were stinky! The goats kind of smelled too but they were fun--a few of them almost knocked me down (they were really excited about getting fed apparently). Before we left we got to pick out little pumpkins and mommy and daddy took a few pictures (okay a million pictures) of me playing with the pumpkins. I guess I am just too cute!! After the pumpkin patch, we ate some lunch with Aunt Patti and then treked back to Old Town....and of course I fell asleep on the way home....

Breakfast with Friends

Today all of my neigborhood friends came over for breakfast. We were supposed to go out to the Pumpkin Patch, but mother nature did not cooperate, so we are gonna try again next Sunday. We had fun eating pancakes and just playing while the adults watched. I think they were excited that we were all ready for naps after playtime! We also made little ghosts to put in our courtyard for Halloween--Thanks Miss Sarah for bringing the materials to make them!

Chicago/Carly Wedding Weekend

Mommy, Daddy and I all went to Chicago, IL this weekend to visit Aunt Chrissy, Uncle Dan and my buddy Owen. We had so much fun--we ate pizza wit mommy's college friends and hung out with Owen & family...Owen may be younger than me, but he is sure bigger than me! On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy had to go to a wedding(Miss Carly's) in South Bend, IN, so I got to stay with Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Dan. I made sure I was good for them, so they will let me come back to play with Owen! I know Mommy and Daddy had a good time at the wedding since they did not have to chase after me...

DC with Great Uncle Tim

Today my Great Uncle Tim, his good friend Miss Tina, mommy and I all went to DC for the day and played Tourist. We went to Eastern Market for breakfast, we saw the Capitol, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial and even went up in the Washington Monument. I was exausted after all that excitement! Uncle Tim wanted me to see the horsey and the policeman but I was not quite having it....I guess skipping my nap is not such a great idea!

A Visit from my "Great' Uncle Tim

My "Great" Uncle Tim came to visit me this week! He is crazy, but super fun! We went out to dinner at Acadiana and had lots of yummy food and he brought me lots if fun toys! He has certainly spoiled me! He bought me a tea set--so I have served up quite a few cups of tea this week! He also brought me a fun tiara, high heels and earrings too! Playing dress up is so much fun!
