Footprints in the Sand...

Today I napped on the beach for most of the day. Mommy and Daddy put my footprints in the sand--apparently this will become a tradition each year. I hung out with Alyssa, ashley and Alana on the beach. They are our friends from Long Island. Then tonight I got all dressed up for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Manning at Chalet Suisse. Another fun day in Aruba! This will be my last blog until we get home- Daddy has to take the computer home with him tomorrow, so more pics to come once Mommy and I get back next week.

Lazy Aruba Days

Another day in Paradise....today the Dischers and the Dimodanas left to go home...I was very sad...but at least more friends came down today too!! Another fun week to look forward to here in Aruba. We spent some time on the beach this afternoon - I napped of course while Mommy and Daddy worked on their tans....Above are some pics from today (from the top- Auntie Shawny and me, Cousin Shelbey and I, Alexis and I, and finally some pics of me being silly on the patio.

My First Swim in Aruba...

I had my first swim today in the kiddie pool in Aruba. I love the water...it was a little bit cooler than my bath water...and there were lots of iguanas that watched! Daddy and Mommy were a bit too big for the kiddie pool but they hung in there for me...maybe I can get in the ocean in October when we come back, but for now the kiddie pool is as good as it gets for me...if only I were a little bigger!

Another Day In Aruba...

Another Lazy day in Aruba...today I got to wear my very first swimsuit! I have yet to get in the kiddie pool, but hopefully I will do that this afternoon...in the meantime I am just hanging on the beach (in the shade of course) with the family! Bonbini Aruba!!

Well, I made my first international flight and we are in Aruba!..mommy and daddy were very happy that I slept through it all..not a peep...Bonbini means welcome in Papiamento (that is the Aruban language- along with Dutch)...This morning I got to go down to the beach for the first time. I even put my feet in the water...Grandma tells me that I will be a water baby and that I get to come down twice a year for the rest of my life! I guess you can say that I am spoiled...just like my mommy! I can't wait to try out my bikinis and bathing suits...more photos to come...

Packing for Aruba

I get to go to Aruba tomorrow!! I am a little mad in my photo because I got 4 vaccinations today and that was sooo not fun. I even got cool looking bandaids for my boo-boos, but that did not make it hurt any less...at least I have Aruba to look forward to! I get to meet my Aunt Queenie, Uncle Percy and my cousins Korey and Shelbey tomorrow too! Tomorrow is going to be quite the fun day. Mommy and daddy are hoping that I will cooperate on the long flight. This is my second flight andI am only 2 months old! Man I am quite the world traveler!

Playing with Lulu and My Activity Mat

Mommy pulled out my activity mat that Nana got me...I can finally see all the fun animals and toys attached to it...of course I had to christen the mat by throwing up on it...I love to leave my mark! The mat has lots of fun colors, flashing lights and fun music...I even got to check myself out in the mirror...that occupied me for quite a few minutes...I think Lulu is not happy with me...I did not share my toys with her...Lulu kept trying to pull off my new friends (giraffe, and mr. elephant)...so mommy had to tell Lulu to play with her own toys...I know Lulu will get over it...I will just have to make it up to her once I start eating solid foods...

Strolling and Swinging

Yesterday it was so nice outside so mommy took me on a long walk. She tested out my new sunblock on me to make sure it did not give me a rash since we are heading down to Aruba soon and I will need LOTS of sunblock even though I won't be out in the sun too much this trip. I get to go again in October and then I will be chasing the iguanas and playing in the kiddie pool! I already have 6 bathing suits...just like mommy (although she has even more than me!)

Today I decided to keep mommy on her toes so I pooped, peed and thew up all within a matter of minutes...mommy calls that the trifecta...I guess I got myself pretty dirty because mommy had to give me yet another bath even though I had one last night! I had to chill in my swing this afternoon since I did a number on my bouncy seat...it is currently drying out on the deck...oops! again just keeping mommy on her toes...

Meeting Great Uncle Pat

Today I got to meet my Great Uncle Pat. He is in town from Alaska for a convention, so I got to meet him! Only one more Great Uncle on my mommy's side to meet then I have met them all! I hope to get to visit with him more this week...apparently the doctors think they have priority but I have another idea about that!
