Christmas Eve and Morning...

Last night we went to Mass and I wore the Christmas Dress that Nana Discher got me. I was so pretty! Everyone at Church told me so! We went back and I got a surprise visit from my godfather Derek. I got sleepy so I put on my Christmas pajamas that Grandma Manning bought me and fell fast asleep. I got up this morning to lots of presents from Santa and my family. Followed of course by a Christmas Morning walk. It is warm here!! I am not looking forward to going back to the cold weather in DC tomorrow!

My First Buccaneers Game in Tampa!

Today I got to go to my very first football game--well, I made it to tailgate but could not go into the game. Apparently I have to have a ticket too and they are kinda expensive, so I sat this one out and had fun tailgating with my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Nana & Pop Pop while Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Chas and Cousin Shelbey went into the game. This was a good decision since the Buccaneers' Defense decided not to show up to the game and they lost to the San Diego Chargers--so I did not miss any athletic records being broken by the Buccs.

My First Tampa Trip

We are down in Tampa now. I got to see Nana and Pop Pop Discher at the airport. I got to see the rest of the Discher clan back at the house. Aunt La and Aunt Clare had not seen me since I was 6 weeks old! They were quite surprised at how big I am now! I got to see cousins Shelbey and Korey too. I am so excited that is is 80 degrees outside...no more winter coats for now! Nana and Pop Pop let me open a gift early...it was a little kitchen set. Mommy helped me put it together this morning. Soco (the dog) likes to lick my face...it is funny. Nana also bought me a little spoon so I can learn to fee myself. I think Nana is rethinking that one after I got my cereal everywhere! More updates as the week continues!!

More Early Christmas Fun

Grandma and Grand Papa Manning sent more Christmas gifts early since I will be in Tampa this year for Christmas. There were so many presents I did not know what to do! It was so much fun unwrapping all of them! Miss Ellyn also got some fun pictures of my buddy Jake and I by our christmas tree....Tampa here I come!

Meeting Santa Claus

I got to meet Santa today. Mommy and Daddy got me all dressed up to meet Santa and the

camera at the mall was broken, so we have two videos from Daddy's phone.

Cookie Monster

Now that I have 2 teeth, I am able to chew on cookies!! and what a mess do I make! Lulu certainly like it when I eat cookies--she tries to steal them from me and she tries to lick my face. Cookies are super yummy!

Opening Early Christmas Presents from Grandma & Grand Papa

Grandma & Grand Papa Manning sent me some Christmas gifts early since we are spending Christmas with Nana and Pop Pop Discher in Tampa. It was so exciting to open gifts. Of course, I am not so sure I thought they were gifts...I was more interested in how fast I could put them in my mouth!

Fun with Jake

Jake and I have lots of fun...I am a few months older than Jake but he has me beat on the number of teeth we have gotten! He makes me laugh! We play all day long! He is my buddy!

The Simple Things

So, I have all of these expensive toys and what do I choose to play with? well....the plastic collander. It provides endless hours of entertainment. and It is my favorite color....blue. well, I think blue is my favorite color...I think Mommy and Daddy were a little baffled when they saw that I like to play with the collander (since it is a kitchen item and all)...but I can't wait until I get to bang on the pots and pans!!

My First Thanksgiving!

Today is my first Thanksgiving! I got to eat some mashed potatoes and some sweet potatoes! I think my favorite is the Sweet potatoes....well, at least they are all over my face! I am not quite coordinated enough to hit my mouth all of the time! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

All Bundled Up!

It's cold outside! Miss Ellyn bundles me all up when we go for walks outside. We go on lots of fun walks and we even go to the playground too! I can't wait to go to Tampa for Christmas so we can go to warm weather! I am not so sure I like this cold stuff!

I Got My First Tooth!!

I finally got my first tooth today! And today is Daddy's Birthday too! I was quite the fussy one today...now I know why!! It is on the bottom. I am sure that more will come soon! All these teeth that are coming in sure do make me tired!!

Fun with Steve!

Uncle Steve came back into town this weekend for Daddy's Birthday. He makes me laugh! He has to go back to Seattle on Sunday. He is super smart....he is getting his PhD in something I cannot pronounce.

Rubber Ducky, You're The One...

...You make bathtime lots of fun!! Rubber Ducky, I'm awfully fond of you! Well, I seem to be taking a lot of baths these days. I guess it is because I am a slobbering machine. I am teething, so give me a break. I really am not that messy. I also got my first cold- just shortly after I turned 8 months old. I like taking a bath because I get to play with Rubber Ducky. I get REALLY mad when mommy takes it away from me after the bath. Sometimes she just gives up and let's me play with it for awhile after, but then it mysteriously ends up back in the bathroom.
