Christmas Treats!

Today I helped mommy make oreo truffles for all of our neighbors.  We had fun rolling the truffles into balls.  Mommy dipped them in chocolate then I got to put the sprinkles on them!  Once they were ready I helped deliver them to our friends.  I even wore  my new Christmas apron from Nana-- mommy has a matching one too!

Elf on the Shelf...

Aunt Chrissy brought me our very own Elf on the Shelf.  We named him Henry.  Aunt Chrissy read us the story of how everyday Henry watches us and then reports back to Santa if I am good or bad....hopefully he does not tell Santa EVERYTHING....UHHH OOOH!    Each night he flies back to the North Pole and reports back to Santa then flies back to our house and each morning I have to find where he landed.  Henry...I do have money in my piggy bank if that helps....(Santa...I promise that is not a bribe!)

A Visit from Aunt Chrissy...

Aunt Chrissy came to visit us this weekend!!  She brought lots of fun gifts!! She always spoils me!!  We had so much fun just hanging out...I was bummed that Owen and Drew stayed back in Chicago...but we still had fun anyway...I guess that means that I will just have to go visit the boys sometime in Chicago!  Thanks Aunt Chrissy!! It was so great to see you.

Trimming the Tree

Tonight we decorated our Christmas tree while watching "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" on TV.  Mommy had lots of pretty silver bells to put on the tree.  Her Uncle Pat gave them to her each Christmas when mommy was growing up! I can't wait for Santa to come and put LOTS of presents under our tree....I guess that means I need to be good!

Old Town Xmas Tree Lighting

Tonight we all headed down to Old Town to see the lighting of the Christmas Tree.  First we ate at Daddy's favorite place....Chipotle....then we watched the the tree lighting.  Afterwards they had singers and dancers-- I had to sit on daddy's shoulders to see since there were lots of people there.  I even got a fun light sword from one of the street vendors....I don't think mommy was too excited about the sword, but I promised not to hit anyone with it....well, not yet at least.  We finished the night with hot chocolate and then headed home for bed.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Check out my super cool pilgrim hat I made in preschool!  We learned all about Thanksgiving at school.  Today mommy cooked lots of yummy food and all of our friends came by and ate dinner with us. I got to eat at my very own table.   Of course my baby brother slept through dinner, but we had fun playing after we all ate! 

First Day of Preschool

Today was my first day of preschool.  I had so much fun!  We had yummy snacks, played on the playground and made fun thanksgiving crafts-- I made a turkey out of my hand!
